Yes. Write the pause into the script and Polyvox holds for that long before the next line. This is the main reason language teachers use it.
Can two voices appear in one lesson?
Generate each speaker's lines as separate clips and alternate them in your editor, or use one clip per speaker per exchange. A native voice actor makes a good second voice.
Are the pronunciations native?
Polyvox uses native-trained models for each language, and Accent Studio lets you choose the regional accent for English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. For a fully native model voice, cast a voice actor recorded in that language.
