That's a temporary authorization hold, not a charge. When you start the free trial, we place a $1 hold to check that your card can be charged, then release it right away. It shows up as POLYVOX* CARD CHECK, and some banks list it as pending for 3 to 5 business days before it disappears. You're never charged the $1.
